Privacy Policy

Privacy built for restaurants that know their guests

GoEatery is a SaaS platform for restaurants, bars, cafes, lounges, and other hospitality businesses. This policy explains what we handle, what our subscribers control, and how customer information flows through the platform.

01

SaaS platform role

We operate GoEatery so hospitality businesses can manage orders, staff, customers, menus, payments, reports, and service workflows.

02

Subscriber-owned customers

Restaurants keep their own customer records and may use them for tailored service, marketing, and business operations.

03

No card storage

Payments are handled through approved payment processor platforms or bank transfer workflows. Card details do not reside on GoEatery.

Policy details

How privacy works on GoEatery

This policy applies to GoEatery websites, demos, support channels, and the GoEatery restaurant management platform operated by GoEatery by OHR Systems and supported by IChannel Technologies.

Who uses GoEatery

GoEatery is used by restaurants, bars, cafes, lounges, hotels, cloud kitchens, and related hospitality operators. These businesses subscribe to the platform to manage their own operations and service their own customers.

Information we collect

We may collect subscriber account details, business profile information, staff user data, branch details, menu records, inventory records, order activity, reservation details, payment references, support messages, device data, and usage information.

Restaurant customer records

Subscribers may store customer names, phone numbers, delivery addresses, order history, preferences, reservation notes, loyalty details, and other service information. This information belongs to the subscriber's relationship with its customers.

How subscribers use customer data

Restaurants and other GoEatery subscribers may use their customer details for tailored service, marketing, reservations, delivery, support, loyalty activity, and general business operations. Those uses are controlled by the subscriber and are beyond GoEatery's direct control.

How GoEatery uses information

We use platform information to provide GoEatery, configure restaurant accounts, manage branches and staff roles, support POS and order workflows, generate reports, maintain security, improve reliability, respond to support requests, and prevent misuse.

Cookies and analytics

GoEatery may use cookies, Google Analytics, and similar technologies to understand website and platform usage, remember basic preferences, measure performance, improve reliability, and offer a better quality of service. These tools may collect device, browser, page visit, referral, and interaction information.

Payments and processors

Subscribers may receive payments through payment processor platforms allowed by GoEatery, including bank transfer workflows where available. GoEatery may record payment status, references, receipts, or reconciliation information, but full card details do not reside on the GoEatery platform.

Sharing information

We may share information with service providers who help us host, secure, support, maintain, or operate GoEatery. Payment-related data may also pass through approved payment processors. We may disclose information where required by law, security needs, dispute resolution, or business continuity obligations.

Subscriber responsibilities

Subscribers are responsible for the customer information they collect, the permissions they grant to staff, the accuracy of their records, their marketing practices, and how they communicate with their customers outside the GoEatery platform.

Security and access

We use reasonable technical and operational safeguards to protect platform information. Subscribers should also protect account credentials, manage staff access carefully, review permissions, and control devices used to access GoEatery.

Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide GoEatery, support subscriber accounts, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, maintain backups, and preserve legitimate business records.

Requests and rights

Subscribers may contact us to request access, correction, export, or deletion of eligible account information. Restaurant customers should usually contact the restaurant they interacted with first, because that restaurant controls its own customer relationship and records.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as GoEatery evolves, as legal requirements change, or as new payment, ordering, reporting, or hospitality features are introduced. The latest version will be posted on this page.
